This package provides the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Connected Automated Research and Mobility Applications (CARMA) reusable software platform for automation of the FHWA Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center’s fleet of Cadillac SRXs cars. The software provides an automated program interface (API) to each of the Cadillacs for researchers to add their own project-specific control code. The download package includes the CACC code as an example of a practical application to exercise and demonstrate the function of this reusable platform.

The download package includes the “CACC Software Installation Instructions” which details the build and install process for the primary processor, Microautobox running dSpace. In addition, it includes instructions for building and installing the necessary software on the secondary processor, which requires Java 1.7.
